Biblelexical
A high-performance, offline-first mobile application designed for deep biblical study. I transformed a concept into a live product on the Google Play Store, handling every stage from UI/UX design to complex data engineering. By optimizing complex linguistic datasets for local mobile use, I created a tool that provides instant access to scholarly insights without the need for an internet connection. It is a complete, end-to-end build designed for speed, accuracy, and accessibility.
About Project
Client Brief: A fully offline Bible reading, note-taking, and study mobile app. The application needed to be fast and accessible, with accurate data displayed for Greek/Hebrew meanings of words alongside different BIble Commentaries for each verse.
My solution: I developed the mobile application using React Native alongside Expo for the development process. For all the content and data used, different open-source sources have been scraped using Puppeteer and turned into SQLite databases so that everything can work fully offline, with everything the user needs in one place, forever.
End result: A finished, polished, and published app on the Google Play Store with a growing user base and constant development cicles for new features and improvements
