Client Brief: The client contacted me regarding performance issues on his website. On the initial metrics analysis, I was quick to notice a load time of up to 30 seconds on the website, with a ton of unoptimized metrics such as FCP, LCP, and CLS being way below a passable threshold. The site used a lot of WordPress plugins, which haven't been updated in a long time, and were having a negative performance effect on the website itself.

My solution: The client was offered a solution of either a full redesign in any modern technology of his choosing, or if he was more willing to stay in the WordPress ecosystem, to replace his Elementor-based website with a heavy plugin dependence with a custom-coded WordPress theme solution. The client chose the latter, where I transformed the heavy plugin-based website into a highly performant and presentable website with high Page Speed metrics, which left the client satisfied.

End result: Performance optimized fully for the website, with high SEO ratings. A Satisfied client, with high praise for the work done. And a finished product, which I am still proud of.
